Pioneer Cabin

A frontier cabin in the late 1800's.  Pioneers who settled in wooded areas were able to construct log homes.  Dwellings on the prairies were typically made of sod.

This is an established homestead with a "soddy" and wooden out buildings. 

 

This is a western ranch house constructed of logs and lumber.  Circa 1888.
