The Frary Cutlery Company of Bridgeport, Connecticut, merged into the combination of Landers, Frary & Clark and at one time was the largest cutlery company in the United States. Frary was one of the first cutlery manufacturers to import cutlers from Sheffield, England.
This knife and fork set has a patent date of the first centennial, July 4th, 1876, although that is not necessarily the date of manufacture. The knife has a length of 10-1/8" - The fork has a length of 7-7/8". This set is very clean with no chips, dents, rust or pits.
