E.C. Simmons Keen Kutter
Keen Kutter is a trade name first used by Simmons Hardware Company of St. Louis, Missouri in 1866. The name was adopted as a trademark by Simmons Hardware Company in 1870. Here is a nice knife and fork set with the E.C. Simmons Keen Kutter logo on the knife. Both the knife and the fork have attractive antler scales in good condition with the exception of the front scale on the fork which has a small crack running laterally across the top pin (see photo). The Keen Kutter brand has become quite collectible. The length of the knife is 9¼" and the length of the fork is 7½". $14.95 |
